OR-Live at St. Francis

What is OR-Live?

OR-Live is the internet home for surgical video. Originally started for physicians to learn about the latest advances in surgery techniques, now, more visitors to the site are patients. OR-Live airs live webcasts and then archives procedures from cardiology to gastric by-pass surgery.

Why view surgery online?

Its important to be a participating partner in your health care. More information can help you ask better questions, ease fears and see your doctor in action. During the surgery, you can even email your questions to the moderator.

How do I view the surgery?

OR-Live will hosts the surgery webcasts, and our 2007 video archives can be accessed through the menu below.

Can I download the surgery video?

OR-Live archives many of the surgery videos as downloadable podcasts. You can download podcasts into your iPod via the OR-Live website.
